CR8:BLK Program Assistant Internship (3 Positions Available) CR8:BLK (Create Black) is a non-profit organization aimed towards celebrating contemporary Black and African Art created by women of color. Contemporary Art is defined to include current works of sculpture, painting, film, media, and other creative platforms. CR8:BLK will use publications, digital media, and outreach programs to further foster creativity in Black communities globally. POSITION DESCRIPTION The Program Assistant Internship will include administrative work to further CR8:BLK’s efforts to increase engagement and support new member activity. Duties may include assisting with grant searches, working on social media promotions for CR8BLK TV, helping with email correspondence with artists, and helping with CR8:BLK’s newsletter. Program Assistant interns will also work on the implementation of CR8:BLK’s signature programs: CR8:BLKArt Residency, CR8:BLK Online Magazine, and Black Women Cinema Week. There are three intern positions open for the Program Assistant Internship. CR8:BLK is looking for program assistants who are driven and motivated to make an impact in the arts community and passionate about helping Black/African women artists. Applicants must be 18 years of age and U.S. citizens and currently enrolled in a college or university. CR8:BLK is looking to hire for this position immediately and the duration of the internship will be for one month upon hiring.
