CR8:BLK RWUL Legacy “Leah Keturah Caesar” Film Grant
CR8:BLK Arts Fiscal Sponsorship is a fiscal sponsorship program set up for Philadelphia based Black women filmmakers and African filmmakers based in any African country. Two fiscal sponsorships will be available every other year, as well as two post production grants available each year. The CR8:BLK RWUL Legacy “Leah Keturah Caesar” Grants will be awarded for two different categories of films. One grant is open for a short film and one grant open for a feature length film. To apply for fiscal sponsorship and grants, you must apply for membership with CR8:BLK or participate in Black Women Cinema Week. The CR8:BLK RWUL Legacy “Leah Keturah Caesar” Grants celebrate Keturah’s passion for film and her dedication to the film community in Philadelphia and in Africa.
CR8:BLK RWUL Legacy Grant Winner 2019-2020 Sewra G. Kidane
Sewra G. Kidane is a renowned Creative Commercial Film Editor, working with fashion and beauty brands such as Creme of Nature, Estée Lauder, Herring & Herring, and Ooshie. Her short film Proclamation Punctuation was selected for the first Keturah Caesar Grant and CR8:BLK Fiscal Sponsorship. CR8:BLK looks forward to supporting this filmmaker in her next endeavors. |
