News From CR8:BLK President: Fiscal Sponsorship with Fractured Atlas![]() CR8:BLK is happy to announce that we are now fiscally sponsored by Fractured Atlas as an organization giving us a 501c(3) nonprofit status. This means CR8:BLK is now eligible for grant funding, more sponsorship opportunities, and can accept donations that can be tax deductible through our Fractured Atlas fiscal sponsorship. With this fiscal sponsorship CR8:BLK will be providing grants to filmmakers through CR8:BLK's Black Women Cinema Week (BWCW)! Last year BWCW2020 was a virtual week long event and we were successful in bringing together filmmakers again for a second year. The RWUL Keturah Caesar Legacy Award has gone to two filmmakers: Sewra G. Kidane (BWCW2019) and LaTrice Amanda Strong (BWCW2020)! These filmmakers are now eligible to use our fiscal sponsorship to further their film work.
