CR8:BLK LAUNCH EVENT –DIASPOR “HER” Pop-Up Art Exhibition

Eventbrite - DiasporHER Pop Up Art Exhibit and Live Music Performance
On September 16, 2018 from 3-5pm---in Soho area of New York at a private art gallery location, CR8:BLK will have their launch event DiasporHER featuring musical guest Koku Gonza. DiasporHER is a Pop-Up Art Exhibition celebrating African/Black Female Artists. The event will feature an art exhibit by painter Ntangou Badila and the official SS’19 NYFW art installation by fashion design house Amyang Fashun. Attend this event through RSVP invite only.  Tickets will be available online through Eventbrite at https://cr8blklauncheventnyc.eventbrite.com  for $25 each with proceeds going towards CR8:BLK’s Fiscal Sponsorship Program and the RWUL Legacy- “Keturah” Caesar Film Grant. An RSVP ticket includes light brunch and drinks, as well as a raffle ticket to win a special gift from our artists.

DiasporHER will include an interactive art experience with live painting performance by featured artist Ntangou Balida and musical guest Koku Gonza. Guests will be served a light West-African inspired brunch and an opportunity to purchase art, pre-order from the new collection by Amyang Fashun and engage with the artists to learn about their artistic journeys.  This event is being curated by CR8:BLK (Create Black), a non-profit organization aimed towards celebrating contemporary Black and African Art created by Black/African female artists. Contemporary Art being defined to include current works of sculpture, painting, film, media, fashion and other creative platforms. CR8:BLK will use publications, digital media, and outreach programs to further foster creativity in Black communities globally. For more information visit www.cr8blk.org for details.
