Schedule for BWCW2021 November 9-12, 2021

Day 1: November 9

• 1PM Live Chat with Sallomé, Social Architect & National Dream Director
• 6PM Workshop: Film Festivals 101, Marketing Your Film & More
• 7PM Panel Discussion: explaining intersectionality of race within the cultural context of African identity in Puerto Rico for Puerto Rican creatives. Guest speakers TBA.

Day 2: November 10

• 3PM Workshop: Filmmaking on a Budget & Finding Grants
• 5PM Live Chat with Filmmaker Thato Mwosa 

Day 3: November 11 (In Person Screenings in Puerto Rico)
Select short films from AfroLatina, Caribbean, Black Women Filmmakers from Puerto Rico and from around the world.  From 6PM-9PM at Taller Communidad La Goyco, San Juan Puerto Rico

Day 4: November 12

• 11AM Wellness for Filmmakers: Breathe-Move-Sound with Jasiri Nkalati
• 1PM Special Presentation: CR8BLK Art Residency Program in Ghana 
• 3PM Docs in Media: with Filmmaker Dr. Jackie Douge & CR8:BLK Founder
• 4PM Chat with Filmmaker Pamela Woolford About: Up/Rooted: Pamela Woolford's Cabin Windows

The Audience: This event will be open to the public. BWCW2021 hopes to engage diverse audiences and arts organizations to attend and participate in this event series.

The Impact: BWCW2021 will feature Black women filmmakers and they will get to share their work with audiences online and in Puerto Rico through panel discussions, screenings, and an exhibition.
